You know what? The thing about being relieved can put into such great spirits it's really inexplainable. Remember a while back I posted something on a true story?
Well... Sophia just received a call from Eleanor. And she said,
Thank you for the trials and all that. It's helped me to get to know God even more and I never knew I could be such an immature brat the last time.
And that really warmed her heart. No. Sophia is not fooled because she can hear the sincerity of the way she speaks and it sounds like someone who has been enlightened and appreciative. She knows because she herself, experience something from God before when she was halfway bathing.
Due to the fact that, after whatever happened, Sophia shunned all experiences away from her and masked it behind her heart. She looked upon her past experiences without a care and thought she had already forgotten and everything was "
in the past". But deep down inside, she did not realize that her
HEART had not stopped hating her and despising her for what she did. She did not realize that her heart was still full of grief, bore a huge grudge and was unable to
truly forgive and forget.
While showering, Sophia suddenly broke down crying and felt the powerful wave of reality crash down upon her unexpectantly. She was overcome with grief and she couldn't help apologizing over and over again and asking God, "Why on earth do I still have that heavy grudge within my heart?" and "Help me to overcome this and be able to forgive and forget." She let the water run down into the drain and she stood there praying and crying for 45 minutes, deep in thought, washing away whatever grudge she had and leaving only small traces of the grudge behind. It's impossible for her to completely forgive and forget as it required
time. So she slowly did it, with the help, love and guidance from her closest friends. It was a huge feat as this was the largest grudge she had in her whole life and she knew she needed God in order for it to happen.
But when she called today, everything fell into place and she felt a sense of a burden lift off
completely from her chest. The amazing part was, she could look upon her as the old friend she used to talk to. Moreover, to have one more friend and one less enemy! Such a feeling was indescribable because she was finally no longer oppressed and she could even thank Eleanor for whatever she did to her, as Sophia too, learnt so much throughout the process of healing. She learnt she had friends whom she could always depend on. Moreover, learn that she could also depend her life upon God and entrust whatever grudge she had to him and pray that, in his indirect way, heal her wounds and leave no traces of a scar.
Because of just a single Thank You. Because of a Single phone call and just a Single hour to return whatever was lost, only to learn something new in the process, it made everything so worthwhile despite whatever Sophia went through. She could now look upon her past
HAPPY experiences with a smile on her face and without a doubt, not care about what bad things she experienced. She really appreciates that and it's almost like a new lease of life. Sophia is very, very happy.
She also thanked her guardian angel for protecting her for all this while and watching over her whenever she is in a troubled spot. She doesn't know what she'd do without her guardian angel and she feels truly blessed. Not only for her guardian angel but for the guardian angels that exists physically, like her close friends and family, and for this opportunity to lift this heavy burden and throw it away. She feels so blessed, thankful and appreciative for everything. Happy happy is she.
But the only thing that makes Sophia sad is that she and Eleanor talked about Mandy, and Eleanor is truly sorry for whatever she said to her recently on a tagboard and wishes that they can be friends once again and crap it out like when they first met. Moreover, Sophia prays for Mandy that she's able to recover, to
truly forgive and
forget and that she is able to move on with life and not have grudges. She prays so hard... And she knows that Mandy is trying her best, despite her difficulty in not being able to forgive nor forget easily.
So she prays...
And Sophia exits stage right for the last...
And final time.
